We are now looking forward to this Saturday’s AAMF ‘Young Hands & Voices‘ concert. Yaremi Alvarez, (photo), is organising this concert for the third time. Students and teachers of Al Ain International School AKA Al Dar Academies will be performing a varied Programme.
This year, in addition to our Al Ain student’s performances, we will have the opportunity to listen to a group of music students from Dubai Newlands school , participating in Al Ain for the first time.
Special thanks go to all of the hard working music teachers that have prepared and inspired our performers, to Al Ain Academy – https://www.alainacademy.sch.ae/en/home – for sponsoring this event; and to the team at La Dolce Vita venue for hosting us; and for always supporting music and arts in the local community.
Get ready for another musical extravaganza. This free concert starts at 6pm on Saturday, 26th January at La Dolce Vita venue – www.ladolcevita.ae .

The fifth edition of the Al Ain Music Festival -in its new format-concluded successfully last Friday, 24th November.
Early that evening, the “Young Hands & Voices” concert enthralled a large audience at the Al Ain Academy. Our congratulations go to Yaremi Ledesma Alvarez, (on left in this photo), for all her efforts in organising this fine event.
Later in the evening, at the nearby Danat Al Ain Resort Hotel, The Chronicles of Khan made their Al Ain debut performance in the Luce Restaurant. We thank Khan and his band (photo) for playing a splendid set for us.
And, indeed, our thanks go out to all the performers and organisers of all seven events of the Al Ain Music Festival 2017 for presenting and producing another very varied, highly enjoyable and successful community-based music festival across the oases of Al Ain!
AAMF 2017 UPDATE:-
After last Friday’s very enjoyable and well-attended “All About the Jazz!” concert at the Rotana Hotel’s Zest Garden, the Al Ain Music Festival 2017 concludes at the Danat Al Ain Resort Hotel’s Luce Restaurant this Friday, 24th November.
The Chronicles of Khan rock band will be performing ‘unplugged’ in the Danat Hotel’s Luce Italian Restaurant from 8 pm. . However, as the Luce Italian Restaurant isn’t a very large venue, we recommend that fans of rock music should take their places earlier tomorrow evening.
This will be The Chronicles of Khan debut performance in Al Ain, after their recent performances at many large festivals in their home city of Dubai, and elsewhere within the region. Don’t miss out on this rare chance to hear them play live in Al Ain!
Earlier, from 6 pm. on Friday evening, about one hundred talented young musicians from a dozen local schools will be performing at the AAMF’s “Young Hands and Voices“ concert at the Al Ain Academy‘s auditorium in Al Sarooj District. This is the second edition of this concert, which builds upon a successful beginning at Al Qattara Arts Centre last November.
This concert’s organiser, Yaremi Ledesma Alvarez, has informed us that all of the auditorium’s seats, which had been available for this concert, have now been reserved. So, it’s going to be a very full house!
Finally, if you have any photos and/or video clips of AAMF events which you would like to share with us, please feel free to post them to us via Facebook Messenger or by emailing us at:- firstname.lastname@example.org .
