La Dolce Vita will be the venue for the AAMF’s “Acoustic Vibes!” concert on Thursday, 16th November. Admission is free of charge again. The doors open from 5:30 pm. for a 7 pm start. Don’t miss it!

The ‘Garden City Classics’ concert begins at La Dolce Vita!

The opening concert of the AAMF 2017, the ‘Garden City Classics, was held at La Dolce Vita venue on 3rd November, 2017.

Congratulations go to Derek Jung of Al Ain Chamber Orchestra for arranging this concert’s programme, and to the AAMF Director, Teresa Murray, for all her organisational efforts!

Special guest performers at AAMF Garden City Classics on 3rd Nov.

IMG-20171014-WA0000Several special guest performers will be performing on the same AAMF “Garden City Classics programme as Khaled Badrieh (3)the Al Ain Chamber Orchestra and Khaled Badrieh and his band, Arabistica on Friday, 3rd November.

Ilya-Netkach-&-Natalia-Nechepurenko-DuoThese special guests include the duo of violinist and composer, Ilya Netkach, and pianist Natalia Nechepurenko, who will perform:
Steps” by Rolf Lovland; “Burned Bridges” by Ilya Netkach; “Milonga Sin Palabras” by Astor Piazzolla; “Windancer” by Rolf Lovland; and “Spanish Dance” by Myroslav Skoryk.

Jennifer EastwoodAlso on this programme, the duo of Jennifer Eastwood and Stephen Aston, will perform Henry Purcell’s “Fairest Isle” and “Music for a While“.

Please note that this concert has the early start time of 6:30 p.m. at the la dolce vita venue. Don’t miss it!

“Oasis Living” September edition features Al Ain Choral Society

Oasis Living Sept 2015 editionThis month’s “Oasis Living” magazine carries a lot of beneficial information for new arrivals to Al Ain.
One of the introductory features, on Page 12, presents the Al Ain Choral Society, including an interview with its Director, Stephen Aston.

The Al Ain Choral Society will be performing alongside of the Al Ain Chamber Orchestra at the AAMF 2015 this November, of course. More details of this concert will be appearing here next week.
