The Brighton College Al Ain Community Orchestra was created in September 2018, as an initiative to provide a cultural space for musicians to perform together in Al Ain.
It has been a joint effort, with musicians from the well established Al Ain Chamber Orchestra, musicians from Brighton College and other soloists in the garden city, consolidating the ensemble and premiering at the College’s Winter Concert on December 12th, 2018.
The BCAA Community Orchestra will be performing at the AAMF 2019 ‘Classical Evening Concert‘ on January 17th, 2019. The venue is the fine auditorium of Brighton College Al Ain, and the concert starts at 6 pm..

We are very pleased to announce that the Arabian Nights band have confirmed they will be performing at the AAMF 2019 Classical Evening on Thursday 17th January at the Brighton College Al Ain.
The band was founded in 2010, and since then it has been performing Arabic music on stages throughout the UAE. Its members have participated in the AAMF every year, usually on the same programme as the Al Ain Chamber Orchestra.
Diyaa Safadi is the founder and leader of the band. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus, Syria. He plays the oud and he works as a music teacher in Al Ain.
Naser Akowan graduated from the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus, as well. He plays violin, and also works as a private music teacher in Al Ain.
Essa Lwisa forms the third side of this band’s triangle. He plays percussion. Essa holds a Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering, and he works as a laboratory instructor at the UAE University.
