Paola Conte, Head of Music at the Al Ain English Speaking School, has confirmed the details of the “Create With Music Workshop” AAMF 2015 event.
It is a great opportunity for children to develop further their creative and thinking skills through music making.
In the ‘Foundation Stage group’ (3 to 5), drums, singing, dancing and listening activities will introduce little ones to the joy of singing and playing different instruments, as well as giving parents ideas on how to develop further their musicality at home.
In the ‘Juniors Group’ (children from 6 to 9); activities will present classical and jazz music in a fun and engaging way. Parents will learn how to develop further their children’s talents, by engaging in listening and discussing pieces of music. Children who are learning an instrument can bring it along, as there will be performing opportunities.
*Maximum number of 20 children per group*
Venue: Al Ain English Speaking School (AAESS)
Some of the topics that we will be covering:-
- Listening and describing music
Singing songs with actions
The importance of performing
Rhythmic gymnastics for preschoolers
As a musician and educator, Paola Conte believes that classical and jazz music should be enjoyed by all children in our community, and that families should be more exposed to these styles of music in a friendly setting, with pieces that are easy to understand and grab the interest of the children.
The fee for each place is AED. 80 per child; which includes the provision of the CD and brochure for this Workshop.
If you would like to apply for a place for your child at this Workshop, please contact Paola Conte directly via – firstname.lastname@example.org
As the number of places available are limited, early application is advised! Don’t miss out!
