Omar Sarieddine, the founder of La Dolce Vita venue in Al Ain, has now offered the support of the LDV team and its resources for the Al Ain Music Festival. Omar and his team have ideas to take this community-based music festival in the right direction.

The area close to the foot of Jebel Hafeet has been settled since Neolithic times. The invention of the falaj irrigation system in the Iron Age allowed farmers to grow crops more extensively.
This video, produced by the Department of Culture and Tourism, shows that the narrow ‘falaj’ water channels are still in evidence in Al Ain’s oases to this day.
